Open Resources

In order to offer a greater coverage of sociology in Bangladesh and works done by Bangladeshi sociologists, the Society will present research papers and articles, including previously published ones, in this web page for its international readers, who may not otherwise have access to these papers and articles.

Manuscripts and/or published works for presentation as Open Resources may be sent in the form of articles, reviews, research notes, databases or chapters. Permission to put the published works on this page must be obtained by the author (s). The Society shall not take responsibility for any infringement or for their content.

Manuscripts / published works should be submitted directly by email as attachment to the Editor, Bangladesh e-Journal of Sociology at editor@bangladeshsociology.org . Manuscripts / published works can also be sent on 3 ½ inch disk by surface mail. In any case, they must be electronically readable and no paper printed copy shall be accepted. However, authors are advised very strongly to retain a hard copy for protection in case the electronic version gets corrupted or gets lost.

Manuscripts / published works received for this page shall be sent to the reviewers over the electronic medium and is thus assured a quick review. The author (s) shall also be notified of the status by email. If a response by regular mail is required, postal address must be included along with author’s email address. However, because of the poor quality of service, communication through regular mail is not assured.
